ATI was established May of 1996 in a 600 square foot garage. The company now occupies a 21,000 square foot state-of-the-art manufacturing facility. Specializing in carbide cutting tools, the company has grown based on QUALITY OF SERVICE and PRICE. We currently have 23 CNC grinders. ANCA, WALTER, ROLLOMATIC and TRUTECH grinders give us the versatility and precision to manufacture and service a variety of cutting tools to original specs as well as create highly customized tooling. We are able to manufacture and service cutting tools down to .003" diameter. We have our own inspection area and have coatings added to your specifications.

Our Workplace.

Grinding Carbide has typically been a very dirty job - in a dirty atmosphere. With the expected tolerance of today's tools - that combination doesn't work. ATI has invested heavily in coolant filtration and air filtration. Coolant is filtered to ONE micron and only full synthetic oil is used in grinding to eliminate cobalt leaching. The shop and the coolants are kept at an ambient temperature to eliminate tool growth. We welcome visitors anytime. We're very proud of our manufacturing facility.

Custom Tooling & Design.

Much of ATI's initial growth was due to the ability to manufacture highly CUSTOMIZED TOOLING with the same delivery time as standard tooling. It is not uncommon to have your special order - delivered the next day. We understand that your business is under the same time constraints as our business.

We make tooling to customer prints or we will design to customer part prints. STEP DRILLS, STEP REAMERS, CUSTOM ENDMILLS, VARIABLE PITCH, VARIABLE HELIX, DOVETAIL CUTTERS, T-SLOT CUTTERS, MEDICAL TOOLS, AEROSPACE TOOLS, DIAMOND TOOLING, TAPERED TOOLS, CUSTOM SAWS, INDEX-ABLE TOOLING - IN HSS AND CARBIDE.

ATI has built a reputation based on QUALITY. In order to offer the best possible quality and consistency in the process, you need the best equipment. The quality / inspection department consists of:

ATI offers complete line of coatings. From multi-layered PVD coatings to amorphous diamond to CVD diamond coatings. We can coat to meet your needs. Many PVD coatings are offered in one day.
