Thankfully, the role of interpreter exists as a profession to help fill in the gaps, whether it be a language barrier or the inability to hear. Tim Muma is joined by Trudy Schafer, an experienced interpreter and project coordinator for the National Interpreter Education Center at Northeastern University. Trudy discusses the challenges and joys of such a position, as well as some of the skills that are required to succeed.
