Our Corporate Accountant Iis instrumental in working towards our purpose every day!!

The Accountant I position reports to the Assistant Corporate Controller. The purpose of this entry level staff accountant position, is to provide general accounting support for the department and the company with moderate supervision. This is done by assisting with the full accounting cycle in ensuring the sound application of accounting principles and controls, while maintaining the accuracy of data.

This position can work remotely, but must live within in 2 hours of our Neenah WI faciliy and be able to come into that facility as needed.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Actively participate in month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closes by preparing journal entries, monthly account reconciliations and bank reconciliation
  • Support compliance with sales and use tax laws through the preparation of supporting schedules and review of state and local sales and use tax returns, as prepared by external service providers.
  • Collaborate with all functional departments across the enterprise to provide financial reporting and tools that support sound decision making.
  • Assist in the documentation of financial policies, procedures and work instructions, making sure they are current and in-line with sound internal controls.
  • Assist with the compliance and completion of property tax and real estate taxes, as needed.
  • Assist with financial and tax audits.
  • Assist with financial reporting process.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance required.
  • 0-2 year of professional experience in related field.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel preferred.
  • Excellent analytical skills with attention to accuracy and detail.
  • Proven track record to meet deadlines, handle multiple priorities, and work well under pressure.
  • Continuous improvement focus.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, writing, and interpersonal skills.
